It has been a couple of months since I have posted. Mariann having a few complications and missing 46 days of school! Today I am in Pocatello, Idaho with my family planning our dear mother's funeral. I need to share my love for her!
Mom, you are amazing! In your 80 years you have done so many amazing things. You were a loving wife for 61 years. The mother of 10 children. I can't imagine how many loads of wash you must of done, by hand! Dirty diapers that you changed, that were not disposable. Just thinking of all the inventions that you have used to help with your chores.
Most importantly, you shared your testimony with me daily. You taught me to "Make new friends and keep the old. One is silver and the other is gold."
You taught me to LOVE EVERYONE! Never burn bridges. You taught me to have proper manners at the table. I might need to work at that one since moving out of the house. But most of all to follow the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ. May I strive to follow to keep His commandments as you have.
I want you to know how much I love and respect you! Thank you for having just "one" more. You will be missed! I am so grateful to KNOW that we will see you again in the Eternities! I love you!

Jaiver turning 40?

Yes it is true! Friday Oct.24th Javier will be celebrating his 40th in Moab with they GUYS! So what will us girls and Anderson do? I wonder...lol! We will need to bring out the cake on Sunday! If you are interested in coming, let's say 6:00. You are all invited!

Odyssey - Thriller Time!

Angelica and Sara have been practicing with Derryl Yeager, Founder and Artistic Director of Odyssey. They will be dancing as Chucky Dolls! (Mariann will be unable to see them because she gets easily scared!) They had to do a tryout with 109 girls and he has 5 teams divided up to do 23 shows.
My girls will be performing in two shows in Logan at the Kent Concert Hall on Oct.18, two in Provo at the Covey Center for the Arts on Oct.11, and at Tuacahn in St. George on Oct.29-Nov.1!
I am excited and nervous for them! Break a leg!

Utah State Fair

Anderson and Mom tried to sneak away from the house to go to the fair, while everyone was at school and work. We were only able to see a few things before we had to go get the girls from school. We packed a broken stroller... but we still had fun!

I want to express my thanks to all of the men and women that have served our country. Especially to my father, Elwin Anderson, who served in the Navy during World War II. I am grateful to live in such a blessed country. May we continue to protect our freedoms! I love the USA!!!

My Birthday

Just Learning

I know so little about computers! That I really would love to be prolific in at least one program. So I thought that I would try to start a blog and see if I can be happy with the results. I'm not sure who will read it, but this is for me to learn something new. I wish myself luck.

Nieces and Nephews - I have lots of them and now they are having families of their own.
Oh! I love my family! FAMILIES ARE FOREVER!
President – was elected as Student Body President at the LDS Business College 1991-92
Queen in my home, with a diaper in one hand and car keys in the other.
Running – my sweet sister-in-law is helping me learn, by pushing me around the track.
Spina Bifida- my second child was born with it. I’m almost an expert. (Not!)
Teach Relief Society! Love the sisters that love me and make it easier!
Umbrella – I never have one when I need it.
Van – just bought a new one from eBay. Dark Blue with an electric ramp for wheelchair.
Wish that I was better at or more knowledgeable about everything! I still have time.
X- It is eXtremely easy for me to do everything else, but what I should be doing.
Yvette – the baby in our family until seven years later, I came along. One of my favorite people to call and when possible “Hang Out”!
Z – never rode a Zebra!

Spring is coming!

It has been wonderful to feel the warm sun! I am so ready for great weather, but I have appreciated the water that we have received. I hope that I can spend some time outside with my kids. I need to have Mariann ride her new bike that Shriner's Hospital donated to her. We wanted Santa to give it to her, but the weather was so nice when it arrived that we just surprised her! She was so surprised that she began to cry and I cried. It was a great feeling. She was able to ride it a little bit before it turn coooold outside.
